Hi guys!

Starlit Pine is me, well, an extension of me. I have always been drawing the things around me. The first thing my dad taught me how to draw was a blue jay! Art for me always acted as a bridge to understanding the world and what I’ve seen. From growing up in northern michigan I have always been in complete awe of the environment around me. I even earned a B.S. in Conservation Biology due to my enthusiasm. Starlit Pine is here due to my passion for environmental connections and how I perceive nature. I strive to connect the natural world to everyday life through art. From functional art to original pieces, ceramics to embroidery.

Tell me what is it you plan to do with

your one wild and precious life

  • midwestern skies.

The nostalgia of childhood memories, the feeling of your feet in the warm grass, the sun on your face, and dancing among the fireflies. My focus is bringing those magic moments into everyday life.

Abstract landscape painting of a colorful sky with purple, pink, and yellow clouds, blue mountain ranges, a dark forest line, and a bright yellow-green grassy foreground.
  • great lakes water.

Functional Ceramics that can remind you of spaces and times that you felt closest to nature. Allowing for little reminders of the wild, wonderful world we live in. Bringing nature and conservation awareness into everyday routines.

Painted landscape of a flowing river with rocks in the foreground, green trees on the riverbank, and a cloudy sky in the background.
  • transformed by thread.

Through embroidery, I bring nature to life with needle and thread, capturing its delicate beauty and intricate details. Each stitch reflects my love for the natural world, turning landscapes, flora, and fauna into timeless, handcrafted art.
